Steam Sterilization in Healthcare Environments
Sterilisation plays a key role in the prevention and control process of hospital infections or healthcare-associated infections (HAI) [citation:3].
The steriliser uses saturated steam with an operating temperature range of 105°C to 140°C and an operating pressure of up to 2.6 bar, in accordance with the current regulatory standards applied within the CSSD (ref. EU Dir. 93/42 on MD) [citation:3].
A material is considered sterile if the Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) is less than 10⁻⁶; that is, when the probability of a microorganism being present is less than one in a million [citation:3].

Door Safety & Interlock System

- No cycle start until doors are tightly closed
- Door opening handle with pneumatic safety interlock
